Phoenix grew up in Arlington Washington and has lived in the surrounding cities all of her life. She is the third child out of four, having a younger sister and two older brothers. And is raising her son, Angel.
Family means the most to her so most of her time is spent with them enjoying activities such as family bbq’s, nature walks, or movie nights with favorite snacks and blankets.
Some of Phoenix’s favorite hobbies include, going to the gym, spa days (because she likes to relax too 😉), shopping at target, and taking care of her home.
One lesson learned that Phoenix has found most important that ties into her work is, taking care of yourself first is most important.
“Growing up I watched my parents struggle and go without to make sure all of us kids were provided for, and the toll it took on their physical and mental health. Your children are most important for sure, but that doesn’t mean you aren’t. And I’ve realized that becoming a parent myself. The way I parent is better when I am taking care of myself rather than putting my needs and care to the side. But this also applies to all connections and relationships. Pouring into yourself first does not lessen what you’re able to give to others, if anything it makes what you can give sweeter and more enjoyable.”
